As part of the Ghana Police aim of combating crime in the the country, over 2,030 police recruiters passed out into the police office, out of which 20 are cadet at police training school at Tesano in Accra.
Speaking at the ceremony Director General of N.P.D, and the reviewing officer, COP MR PAUL MANLY AWUNI stated that the recruiters constitute second batch of trainees 2022 who have successfully completed the basic police training program.
He commended the recruiters for their turn out during the parade and excellent performances exhibited at the parade grounds indicating that the show exhibited would be carried as part of their hard work and discipline to their field of post.
According to him the emerging crime, terrorism, cyber related crime and modern policing challenges are changing due to the increase demand on the personal of the Ghana Police
On issue of terrorism, COP mention that terrorism has become a global trend whereby most countries have experience terrorism attack therefore the Ghana Police would not relent on these issue .
He therefore assures the preparedness of the Ghana Police to adequately response to any form of attack.
COP AWUNI advice recruiters to see the public as compliance and in dealing with them exhibit high sense of professionalism, civility and Respect for the General public.
