UPDATE ON LANDGUARDISM IN GOMOA EAST.
Following the ban on Landguards activities in Gomoa East District, Nyanyano Police gets tough, grabs five (5) landguards today.
According to source, the said landguards were going round extorting money, terrorising land owners within Nyanyano and it’s environs .
Police source says the five will be arrange before court tomorrow.
Mireku Nyampong Speaking to DCE for Gomoa East, who doubles as Chairman for District Security Council (Disec) Hon Solomon Darko-Quarm confirm the arrest saying the District police Command is taking the statement from the suspects and they will be arrange before court tomorrow.
He however advised the youths who are engaging themselves in such Activities to desist from it because the law will deal with them accordingly when caught.
