AT LEAST 5 COMMUNITIES FLOODED AFTER RIVER DENSU OVERFLOW, LEAVING MANY HOMLESS

RIVER DENSU OVERFLOW

Over 10,000 persons in at least 5 communities including Ashalaja, Kwame Amum, Hobor amongst other communities in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region are in the state of shock and homeless now after river Densu overflow and the open of Weija dam taken over 5 communities.

Canons are being use to transport persons from their homes to a server place.

The MCE for Ga South Municipality hon Joseph Nyani Stevens was shocked after touring the area , according to him over 6 years as chief executive officer he hasn’t experienced such disaster before.

Nadmo personal including military persons are going rounds to rescue the affected person’s

Mireku Nyampong spoke with Ga South Municipal Nadmo Director Christian Afiadenyo and he explained measures in place to take the affected from their homes.
