C/R : Kasoa National Union Of Tipper Drivers Association Embark On Workshop And Maintenance Action Over Fuel Hike.

The National Union Of Tipper Drivers Association central regional chapter have declared one week Workshop and Maintenance Action over what they describe as high cost of fuel and customers inability to pay prices of Sand, stones, and quarry dust due to the union.

According to them, in July this year, they had announced that prices of this commodities have increased but customers seemed to be turning deaf ears to their move, hence their decision to embark on the action.

Addressing a press conference, Vice Chairman of the Union, Frank Antwi , told Mireku Nyampong that it has become necessary for them to take this decision due to their willingness to serve Ghanaians better as we all contribute our quota to help build Ghana.


They have declared the Workshop And Maintenance Action from today Monday to the 5th of September to help maintain their vehicles and streamline a proper prices due them to help satisfy customers, Ghanaians eager to build in the country.

National Chairman of the Tipper Drivers Association Kadri Inussah on his part explained that their decision is not deliberate but the situation now in the country have amounted to this, hence appealing to all and sundry to try bearing with them since they are also running at a lost in their discharge of duties.

National Task Force Commander for the Union, Nana Kojo Fosu also announced that all necessary steps to monitor Tipper Drivers Nationwide is in place to make sure members abide the decision taking.
