Crime Will Soon Be A Thing Of The Past in Kasoa, Mp Assures Residents .

Member of parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency in the central region, who doubles as Minister for Fisheries and aquaculture development Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson has assured his constituents the high rate of crime in Kasoa will soon be a thing of the past.

According to the law-maker, construction of the central East Police Headquarters in Kasoa will help the police administration deploy more police personnel’s to the region to help fight the high rate of crime within  Kasoa and its environs.


If we could recalled, last year the MP Hon Hawa Koomson cut sod for the construction of central East Police headquarters in Kasoa.

Today, the Mp has visited the site to inspect the ongoing project. The three story building facility is still ongoing with police offices and holding cell is expected to be commissioned  next year.

In an interview with Mireku nyampong the minister disclosed that she is the sole financier of the project and the project is expected to be completed early next year.

Also the contractor in charge of the project Mr George Amade, promised that within the  stipulated time frame the project will be completed.
