Mp for Effutu who double as Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament Hon Alexander Afenyo Markin has advised parents especially Mothers to allow their children to be discipline when they go wrong to get them better future don’t pampering them and got them spoil in future.
The member of parliament is of the view that, most Mothers don’t allow their children to be discipline when they go wrong rather they over protect them thinking they doing them good. According to Hon Afenyo Markin, children of school going age should stop attending parties, watching of telenovelas and the use of social media wrongly but rather focus of their education.
He said, parents shouldn’t blame teachers when theirs wards fail in school because parents also have major role to play.
Hon Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin made this known to Mireku Nyampong during a commission of three class room blocks At ACM Basic School at Sankro a suburb of Winneba within Effutu Municipality.
Also, the Education director for Effutu Municipality Madam Judith Micca thank their member of parliament Hon Afenyo Markin for his support towards education in Effutu.
According to her, education directorate at Effutu is proud having Mp who has been supportive by providing the necessary equipment and infrastructure to the schools within his constituency.
Madam Judith Micca charge teachers and students who will be using the facilities to practice maintenance culture since she will be coming time time to inspect the facility.
