Farmer Allegedly Killed, Dumped in a Forest at Abura Dunkwa

The residents of Abura Dunkwa in the AAK district in Central Region were shocked to the marrow in their bones after distasteful information on strange disappearance of the hard working young farmer and a father of three kids went rather sour when local residents game hunters chanced upon him in the course of their hunting expedition and suspected to have been murdered by an unknown
attacker on Monday.


The deceased who was identified as Kojo Atta, aka John who is believed to be in his 40s had earlier on reported gone missing as he failed to returned home for a couple of weeks only to be spotted in the thickest bush with the body found decomposed beyond  recognition.


According to authentic information gathered from the source close to the search party led by ASP Paul Akonde, the District Police Commander, the town Asafo Company, District Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Emmanuel A.Commey and of course family members, the body was found lying under coconut trees near a swampy enclave and believed he might have been killed and carried far away from his makeshift structure and dumped there ostensibly to avoid detection the unknown assailants. Meanwhile, upon advice by the District Environmental Health Officer, the body has been buried while Police have commenced of investigations into the case to unravel the mystery surrounding the cause of his death.
