Over 500 houses flooded at Ashalaja October down, Preventing children from going to school

Continues heavy downpour has force the Densu River into part of the Ashalaja town call October down.

The residents alleged that, one Kingsford who’s a estate developer has bought government reserves land which was not supposed to be developed and has started developing the area which has cause such a huge disaster.

 

Over thousands of residents has been left stranded in the area leaving school children lock up in their houses without going to school.

The residents were seen in red banners chanting war songs charging the government come to their aid because over the years they have live in October down they haven’t experience such disaster until this estate developer came in.

They however appealed to government to come to their aid and call the estate developer to order and stop developing the area since the land is a government reserve land.
