The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park which is a national park in Ghana named after Dr. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah which was abundant over a decade has being redeveloped and commissioned today by the president of the Republic of Ghana , H. E. Nana Akufo Addo Dankwa.
Speaking that commission ceremony today H. E Nana Addo discloses that the redeveloped Kwame Memorial Park under the late Jerry John Rawlings never saw development under the Ministry of Tourism, art, and Culture Hon Ibrahim Mohammed Awal has seen massive development and modernization.
The redevelopment and modernization of the Park, championed by the government
of the New Patriotic Party under the distinguished leadership of H.E Nana Addo
Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has introduced an architecturally picturesque reception centre,
a which houses host of offices. a modern library, an eatery, a gif shop. an infirmary
and a conference facility, which are all digitally controlled.

According to the president the redeveloped of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial park with a of cost 13million cedis is in line with Government interventions to make the park one of the tourist attract in west Africa.
President Akufo Addo charge the ministry of Tourism, art and culture and it’s agencies to be wise effective marking and promotion of putting strategies to achieve the target of 1million domestic and international tourist visitation to the park.
President Akufo Addo urge the Ghana Tourism Authority to work closely with the MMDAs such as the Ghana Immigration Service, Police Service, Diaspora service of the office of the presidency and the ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration to ensure smooth and successful work done.
