Following the forthcoming of the West African Examination Council(Africa’s foremost examination body) the council has set Monday, 31st July to Tuesday, 26th September, 2023 for the WASSCE.
The council therefore wishes to announce to its stakeholders that they have today, Wednesday, 15th March, 2023 has opened the portal for the registration of candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE) for school candidates and it will closed on Wednesday, 19 April 2023.
Speaking to the media at a press briefing, Head of Legal Department WAEC, Ghana Office, Rev. Victor Brew opined that approved WAEC registration fee for entry in 7/8 subjects is GHC 381.24p exclusive of the fees for practical or Oral test.
Rev. Victor Brew cautioned head of schools against the registration of unqualified candidates which could lead to the nullification of a candidates results.
He stress that WAEC have agreed and accepted to take a registration fees for 7 or 8 subject is 381, 20pesew, meanwhile the practical fee oral fee is 14.50pesewes to 19.50pesewes.
He therefore signed a word of cautioned to schools who will charge more than that amount to face the law.
