The women in Boame nkwanta community in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region has stated it emphatically that, their major challenge in the community is water and there is only one pipe water that was serving the community but it has damaged for the past 12years .
We are really struggling to get water for domestic use and before we can get water unless they woke up at 4:30 am and search for water in the forest around them while we have Member of parliament and DCE in our District. We are sending this strong message to them that , if our damaged pipe water is not restored there is no way we will respond to the call of member parliament Hon . Alhaji Alhasan Kobina Ghanssah , DCE and any other person because we will not fool ourselves again.

Mr Seidu Otwe who is the PTA chairman for Boame nkwanta D A Basic school also added that , the school is going through a lot of challenges which includes school renovation because ever since the school was putting no renovation has been done on it and it took the community members to gather some money to do that renovation. Whenever the politicians are passing by they rolled their glasses and some even stop to go round and see the current state of the school.
We have about six classrooms which we have not tarred the inside .

Finally, the Assembly Member for Ekumfi Electoral Area Hon. Evans Okyere Jackson also stated that, the community are really struggling in search of water and we will call upon the MP and DCE to come to their aid to repair the damaged pipe water for them. He said the community are doing well and even how they managed to the renovation of the D/A Basic school and he also support with 10bags of cement. The school served as a property for the community and there is a need to see to it that it is well maintained and by doing so the MP and DCE should also do their responsibilities.
