GHANA’S ECONOMY DEPEND ON SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY… DR. KWAKU AFIRIYIE

The Minister of Environment, Science and Technology,, Dr. Kwaku Afriyie has stated emphatically that the county’s economy is heavily dependent on Science and Technology.

According to him it is therefore imperative to take a critical look at the development of science and Technology , Engineering and Mathematics acronyms STEM courses in our educational systems serious.

The Minister disclosd this at the 3rd Edition of the Energy Commission’s Senior high schools Renewable Energy Challenge,  held in Accra .

The theme “Clean Cooking and food processing using Renewable Energy Technologies.

On his part, the Executive Secretary of Energy Commission, Oscar Amonoo- Neizer discloses that the program is a flagship of Energy of Commission program with the aim of promoting energy research and development among students and facilitate the establishment of mentorship programmes to advance ideas into bankable, game -Changing solution.
